Here at Behind The Walls, we are driven by a single goal; to do our part in making the world a better place for all. We strive to build productive relationships and make a positive impact with all of our pursuits.
The wellbeing of all that work in corrections is at the forefront of what we’re working together towards. Our programs and activities are designed to be a catalyst that helps corrections staff fulfill their potential. Behind The Walls is a nonprofit organization whose mission is ‘Connecting the links to help those that are forgotten behind the walls’ by educating and financially assisting all correctional workers when they have been injured or when long term illnesses have taken their career away. It will improve the knowledge the community has about Jails and Prisons, help to improve staffing issues, and inform the community about careers in corrections.
Selflessness is someone who is generous in spirit, who tries to give back as much as possible to help people
